Waiting for the Lord?
Whether we admit it or not, we're waiting for the LORD - one way or another. We're waiting for Him to convict our hearts through His Holy Spirit; we're waiting for Him to return; we're waiting for answers to prayers, and/or we're waiting as we struggle through personal trials. The Psalmist says to "Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord." (Psalm 31:24). God is faithful. He is worth the wait. No matter what happens here in this life (and stuff DOES happen and can get pretty intense) it will all be OK if we simply wait for the LORD.I'm not a good "waiter." I was never diagnosed, but am certain I have ADD - it would explain a lot of things that went on when I was a child. I posted this as a prayer for myself and ask God to please "Give me strength and give me courage as I wait for You." Amen? Yes, Amen!
